I'm trying something new. The old MacBook Pro took a nose dive, which might actually turn out to be a good thing- in an HR, team-building, "it's not a problem, it's an opportunity" kind of way. Out with the old and in with the new, I guess. I'm testing out the possibilities of working from the iPad only. From editing the photos to uploading them here. I use Weebly. It's clunky, but I'm locked into the domain and thus paying the price for early adoption. It works for what I need it for, so I'm ok with it and admittedly it has improved over the years with the advent of competion from the likes of Squaresapce and Wordpress. Also, instead of just slapping new photos into the "Of the Lense" page and forgetting about them, this might force me to take more notice of my work and maybe respect it a little more. The challenge will be just that and forcing myself to write a little blurb about each pic I post here. I started this crazy journey picturing myself as a writer, so anything that encourages me to write more is a good thing, plus writing this inconsequential little blurb has shown me just how out of practice I am. Writing is haaard. "Good" writing that is. That said, don't expect the "Iliad" here...maybe something more akin to the "Dharma Bums." Who knows?
